A 20-year-old college student, Bittu Tabahi, stepped into the polluted Ajnar River in Madhya Pradesh and started removing plastic, garbage and other waste himself. What began with a few friends eventually became a largely solo effort — raising the question: should individual citizens carry this burden, or is it solely a government responsibility?
